Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Mahwah, NJ

Type: Contract

Compensation: $35-41/hr

Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 9am -5pm

Responsibilities:

• Provides engineering support to a manufacturing process, project or function.
• Evaluates manufacturing outcomes and implements continuous improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Supports NPI and new equipment/process introductions.
• This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
• This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent.
• Requires a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles.
• The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience.
• This job typically requires a degree in process or equivalent and no experience.
• Nice to have: Technical Writing, Drawing evaluation, Computer basics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems.
• Medical Device Experience is highly preferred
• Ability to evaluate manufacturing outcomes and implement improvements.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise.
• Excellent judgment and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of technical writing, drawing evaluation, and computer basics is a plus.
