Who we are:

We're a boutique CPA firm with a strong reputation among real estate businesses and high-net-worth families. We're looking for an experienced Tax Manager who wants to own client relationships and see engagements through from start to finish.

The role:

Our clients include landlords, real estate funds, syndicators, developers, and multi-entity family groups. When we hand you a client relationship, you lead it. You communicate directly with the client, identify what's needed, coordinate the work, and get it done. Staff prepares work and supports engagements, and you're never on your own with a tough issue. Our office is collaborative-walk into a partner's office to ask questions and talk through ideas.

What you'll do:

• Serve as the primary year-round contact for your clients

• Prepare and review complex returns, with a heavy emphasis on Forms 1040 and 1065

• Handle multistate filings and coordinate across related individuals, entities, and trusts

• Delegate to staff, give clear direction, and review their work

• Manage deadlines, gather missing information, and resolve open items proactively

• Spot planning opportunities and explain tax matters in clear, practical terms

What we're looking for:

• CPA license (required)

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience, with deep 1040 and 1065 experience

• Ability to manage complex, multi-entity client groups and see how the pieces fit together

• Confidence communicating directly with clients and building long-term relationships

• Sound judgment about when to work independently and when to collaborate

• Experience with real estate clients or high-net-worth families (a strong plus)

• $120,000+ base pay, depending on experience

• Annual performance and referral bonuses, with total compensation that can exceed $150,000
