Secondary Associate Principal

Assist the Principal in implementing best teaching practices in order to ensure the academic, social and emotional success of each student by providing inclusive education accounting for race, class, disability, gender, language, and learning styles. Encourage, supervise and evaluate teachers and other staff. Establish a level of supportive and restorative environment that promotes a climate for productive learning.

Required Qualifications:

• Possession of New York State certification as a School District Administrator, School District Leader, School Administrator/Supervisor, or School Building Leader.

• Proven ability to interact effectively with students and their families who represent cultures that are diverse in terms of race, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and other characteristics in order to build an effective and collaborative school community;
• Ability to implement culturally responsive curriculum; create an inclusive classroom; and differentiate instruction in order to engage the learning styles and needs of each student as an individual.

Salary Range: $99,500 Commensurate with education and experience
