Warehouse Transition Lead

Our client, a leading organization in supply chain and logistics, is seeking a Warehouse Transition Lead to join their team. As a Warehouse Transition Lead, you will be part of the Supply Chain / Logistics department supporting operational excellence and seamless warehouse transitions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Transition Lead

Location: Suffolk, VA

What's the Job?

• Lead and coordinate activities related to a major warehouse transition project to ensure timely completion.
• Manage daily execution of transition activities, maintaining business continuity and service levels.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including warehouse staff, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee inventory transfers and ensure alignment of warehouse management systems (WMS) and offline reporting tools.
• Track and report KPIs such as inventory accuracy and reconciliation throughout the transition process.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations.
• Proven ability to manage operational transitions or relocations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, WMS, and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
