Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a global manufacturing organization to hire a Customer Experience Representative for its Lithonia, GA location . This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Lithonia, GA (100% Onsite)
Pay: $20.00-$21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Employment Type: Ongoing, long-term contract with potential for conversion.
About the Opportunity
In this role, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for key customer accounts, supporting distributors and manufacturing customers with order management, pricing, shipping, and product inquiries. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive exceptional service while gaining exposure to a wide range of products and industries.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Manage inbound phone calls and email inquiries related to pricing, product availability, order status, shipping, tracking, returns, and backorders.
- Process customer orders accurately using CRM and order management systems.
- Utilize customer portals to upload/download order information and product details.
- Analyze open orders and coordinate with internal teams to help meet customer delivery requirements.
- Initiate and expedite production requests based on customer needs.
- Provide product information, substitutions, and competitive product interchange recommendations.
- Track customer interactions and cases using CRM tools.
- Maintain electronic customer records and documentation for efficient retrieval.
- Resolve customer concerns through proactive communication and consistent follow-up.
- Support team performance by helping achieve customer service and response-time metrics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of customer service, account support, or customer experience experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing customer inquiries via both phone and email.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to analyze information and solve customer issues independently.
- Comfortable working with multiple software systems and databases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel ( experience with Pivot tables ) and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM and ERP platforms is required; experience with customer interaction platforms is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or automotive customers.
- Experience working with customer portals and order management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working within established service metrics and performance goals.
