Work Shift: PRN (United States)
Job Overview:In this dynamic and technical role, you will work alongside a diverse team to deliver exceptional care to patients. The Occupational Therapist PRN position involves providing both professional and technical occupational therapy services to designated patients. You will engage in direct and indirect patient care, adhering to the Occupational Therapy Act/Rules process, which includes evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing reassessment, and discharge planning.
Requirements:- Graduation from an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Valid Texas License or Temporary License required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Maintain clear and open communication
- Foster relationships to encourage a collaborative atmosphere
- Take responsibility for your performance
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the patient experience
- Proactively pursue your professional development
- Engage actively to contribute to a successful team
Our organization is proud to be the first full-service, acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas. Serving the Midlothian area and northern Ellis County, we operate a 46-bed facility designed to grow with the community. We offer a wide range of services, including emergency care, advanced surgical procedures, imaging, and labor and delivery.
