Foundation Specialist The Foundation Specialist is responsible for advancing the Hoag Hospital Foundation's mission through the planning, coordination, and implementation of assignments in collaboration with internal and external partners to achieve overall Foundation goals. The specialist specializes in overseeing projects, focusing on coordinating and facilitating operations for both internal and external stakeholders. With a strong emphasis on organization, meticulous planning, and attention to detail, this role ensures streamlined processes and fosters effective communication among team members. The specialist ensures a standard of excellence in service delivery to staff, donors, volunteers, and both internal and external stakeholders, nurturing strong relationships and trust. Key responsibilities include: Actively contributing to the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and initiatives. Executing various projects assigned by supervisor, including developing donor-facing presentation decks, talking points, meeting agendas, briefing materials and various reports. Serves as a strategic liaison across the organization advancing the progress of our organizational goals and initiatives by creating efficiencies, proactively developing solutions and maximizing interdependent relationships across departments. Facilitating small-scale events, from strategic pre-event planning today-of coordination and follow-up. Manage and analyze donor information within internal systems including Salesforce, as related to specific department/area. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. Other duties as assigned. Donor Stewardship Supports donor stewardship initiatives through strategic project management and donor experience coordination. Responsibilities include the development of donor impact reports and stewardship communications, coordination of donor journeys and stewardship projects, and the creation of meaningful experiences that deepen donor connection and engagement. The role also collaborates across departments, particularly with fundraising partners, to strengthen donor relationships and support engagement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Minimum five years of professional and/or administrative experience Microsoft Suite knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) Experience with Canva and/or design platforms Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and professional materials for a variety of audiences Demonstrated project management experience Knowledge of fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit operations preferred Salesforce or equivalent database knowledge preferred About Us Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is a nonprofit regional health care delivery network in Orange County, California, consisting of three acute-care hospitals with sixteen urgent care centers, eleven health centers and a network of more than 1,800 physicians, 100 allied health members, 8,000 employees, and 2,000 volunteers.
