We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a temporary-to-hire position in Chester, VA. The successful candidate will specialize in operating forklifts equipped with clamp and barrel attachments to safely move, stack, and stage specialized inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Attachment Operation: Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts using specialized roll clamps and barrel/drum clamps.
Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and stack cylindrical, fragile, or heavy non-palletized materials.
Inventory Control: Verify product labels, match inventory to shipping manifests, and log data into the warehouse management system.
Safety Compliance: Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections, report defects, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience is strictly required.
Specialized Skillset: Proven hands-on experience utilizing clamp and barrel attachments is mandatory.
Location: Ability to reliably commute to our facility located in Chester, VA.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit or stand for extended periods, and work in varied warehouse temperatures.
