About the Position

Job Title: Sleep Technologist Profession: Sleep Tech Specialty: Sleep Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required License: RPSGT Certification Certifications: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist credential, BLS preferred Description: Travel Sleep Technologist position available. Candidates must have experience as an EEG Tech. Candidates must possess RPSGT Certification. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. The sleep lab has a total of 4 beds. There are 7 staff members on the unit. The patient ratio is 1:1 and 1:2 based on patient acuity. The lab utilizes Nihon Kohnen Polysmith and ResMed BIPAP equipment. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include split nights and adaptive servoventilation. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills. Consideration will be given to candidates with high altitude experience and basic scoring skills. This is a competitive market; any additional skills will be advantageous in attracting talent.
