About the Position

Job Title: RN - Med/Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care experience in Med/Surg License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Description: Travel RN position in a Med/Surg setting. Unit features 29 beds with potential overflow for up to 39 patients. The team includes 8 RNs and a charge nurse on both day and night shifts. Patient ratio is 5:1. Equipped with remote telemetry and utilizing Meditech for electronic medical records. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current Med/Surg RN experience. Post-operative surgical care and administration of cardiac drips such as amiodarone and diltiazem are typical tasks.
