About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Med/Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Description: We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN for our Medical/Surgical unit. The unit has a total of 26 beds. When fully staffed, we operate with a charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 3 patient care technicians during the day shift, and a charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 patient care technicians during the night shift. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6:1. We utilize Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines for patient care. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Preferred candidates will have experience with medical patients, heparin drips, and post-operative radial cardiac catheterization. We are looking for hard workers with a fun personality and high energy. Patient care experience is a priority. The unit is excited to welcome new teammates to our high-energy environment.
