Support Payroll Operations and Employee Care in Fort Worth, TX
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Clerk to join our growing team in Fort Worth! This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring timely and compliant processing of employee compensation. If you're organized, responsive, and enjoy working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly, this role is for you.
Your Impact as a Payroll ClerkIn this role, you will:
Maintain Payroll Records: Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data accurately and on schedule.
Update Employee Info: Enter changes related to exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and department transfers.
Generate Reports: Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
Calculate Liabilities: Determine payroll liabilities, including employee federal and state income tax, Social Security, unemployment, and workers' compensation.
Resolve Issues: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies quickly and professionally.
Support Employees: Provide accurate payroll information and respond to questions and requests.
Ensure Compliance: Follow company payroll procedures and report any necessary updates or policy changes.
Maintain Confidentiality: Protect sensitive payroll information and uphold privacy standards.
Assist with Requests: Process employment verification and garnishment documentation as needed.
Collaborate with Team: Contribute to the department’s success by supporting broader payroll goals.
