Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced CVICU RNs with acute care expertise to provide high-quality patient care in a community-focused hospital setting. Candidates must have Day 0 CVICU experience and be willing to cover CCU as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Administer complex cardiovascular and critical care treatments to adult patients within the CVICU.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vitals, interpret diagnostics, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Participate in call rotations, providing support during off-hours as scheduled.
• Maintain current certifications and adhere to safety protocols in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Qualifications:

• Possess strong CVICU skills with recent Day 0 CVICU experience.
• Hold a Colorado RN license in good standing.
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing cardiovascular emergencies and intensive patient monitoring.
