Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Overview

A leading manufacturer and supplier of scientific instrumentation is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support manufacturing operations, strengthen customer relationships, and serve as a key liaison to customers across the global market. This is an opportunity to play a key role in connecting customer service, manufacturing, and global operations while contributing to overall business success.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Materials Returned for Credit (MRC) process

• Perform order entry and shipping processes

• Prepare materials, folders, binders, and parts for on-site service visits

• Process completed service reports for on-site and factory service

• Initiate, receive, and process loaner and trade-in instruments

• Review open service call reports, RMAs, and update records as needed

• Maintain monthly test and equipment logs, ensuring calibration compliance

• Update service calendars and prepare service documentation

• Coordinate activities with Customer Service regarding customer orders

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls

• Create and process service parts quotes, orders, and shipments

• Create and process RMA quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, and RMA requests

• Provide administrative support to the Service Department

• Assist with additional service-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred

• Experience in a sales or customer service environment, preferably within manufacturing

• Experience working with international customers

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP and HubSpot experience preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow directions and work independently

• Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills

• Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and within company policies

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to adapt to a growing business environment and take initiative

• Must be able to lift and move materials and boxes up to 30 lbs.
