You’ll manage your own client portfolio while collaborating closely with a seasoned, supportive team. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary PR lead for assigned client accounts Develop and pitch creative, strategic story ideas to local, national, and trade media Write and edit press releases, bylines, pitches, award submissions, and other copy Build and maintain strong media relationships Coordinate interviews, TV segments, and in-studio appearances Attend client meetings, events, grand openings, and milestones Track coverage and compile monthly reports using media monitoring tools Research industry trends, competitors, and timely news angles Prepare client summaries and lead executive-level discussions Represent local and national brands with professionalism and confidence Note: Occasional early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required. Compensation is provided when applicable. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field Strong command of AP-style writing and editing Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure Excellent presentation, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social platforms, and PR tools Experience with Muck Rack, Smartsheet, Qwoted, and Critical Mention preferred Compensation Salary range: $55,000–$80,000 annually , based on PR experience and familiarity with the Arizona market.
