Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianPROJECTXYZ has a rare opening for a Maintenance Technician in our manufacturing area where we provide prototype molds and parts to major OEM companies using world-class equipment and leading-edge technologies through stereolithography, selective laser sintering, vacuum casting, and other specialized processes. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting production operations, conducting general and preventative maintenance; electrical and mechanical, as well as building and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a blend of mechanical, electrical, and digital proficiency, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Diagnostics & TroubleshootingPreventative MaintenanceAuxiliary Equipment SupportDocumentation & SafetyDuties and Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous production flowEnsures operation of electrical and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on hydraulic, pneumatic, water, coolant systems, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.Maintain maintenance logs and recordsRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency callouts to minimize production downtimeSupport installation and set-up of new equipment, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and functionalityEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout proceduresMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Able to read and follow drawings and Document / communicate all machine control modifications to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose the root cause of the problem.Other duties as assigned by supervisorQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical degrees in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields are preferred1-2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to read schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manualsUnderstanding and ability to communicate technical and mechanical informationGood problem-solving, attention to detail and teamwork skillsExcellent Communication skills, both Verbal and WrittenPhysical Factors:Employees are regularly required to safely and efficiently perform tasks in a fast-paced working environment under minimal supervision.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, robots and conveyors.Various physical demands.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.Push/pull up to 300 lbs. with or without assistancePROJECTXYZ is an equal opportunity employer encouraging individuals with disabilities and veterans to apply.
