Repair Sales Representative – Home Improvement

Clearwater, FL | Tampa Bay Area

$40K Base + Uncapped Commission | Company Truck + Fuel Card | Preset Appointments  

Join Ridge Top Exteriors, a top-rated exterior remodeling company, as we expand our Clearwater sales team with a new Repair Sales Representative position.

This role is focused specifically on homeowners who need exterior repairs—from roof leaks and damaged or missing siding to other exterior repair needs. You'll meet with homeowners at preset, qualified appointments, diagnose the issue, recommend the right solution, and close the sale.

This is a great opportunity for someone who combines technical home improvement knowledge with strong sales instincts . You'll need to be comfortable identifying problems, explaining solutions, closing efficiently, and recognizing when a repair may warrant a larger replacement project.

What You'll Do

• Meet with homeowners at scheduled, qualified appointments
• Inspect and troubleshoot exterior repair needs, including roof leaks and siding damage
• Conduct exterior property and roof inspections
• Diagnose problems and recommend practical repair or replacement solutions
• Prepare and present estimates to homeowners
• Educate customers on their options and help them make confident decisions
• Close repair opportunities efficiently using a strong one-call-close approach
• Identify situations where a repair may be better addressed through a larger replacement project
• Self-generate additional opportunities by connecting with neighboring homeowners around company-set appointments
• Maintain strong sales activity and revenue performance
• Accurately document customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-up activity within the company's CRM
• Utilize technology, including CRM systems, email, and other business applications, to manage sales activity and customer communication
• Contribute positively to the team and help foster a collaborative, results-driven culture
• Represent Ridge Top Exteriors professionally in the field and throughout the community

What You Bring

• Previous sales experience, preferably in home improvement, roofing, exterior remodeling, or in-home sales
• Working knowledge of roofing and exterior home repairs, including the ability to troubleshoot issues such as leaks
• Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills
• Ability to assess a homeowner's needs and confidently recommend the appropriate solution
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment
• Willingness to proactively create additional sales opportunities in the neighborhoods you serve
• Strong computer and technology literacy, including experience working within CRM systems
• ServiceTitan experience is highly preferred
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Comfortable climbing ladders and performing roof inspections
• Willingness to work a six-day sales schedule, including evenings and Saturdays
• Self-motivated, coachable, competitive, and driven by results
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to contribute to a strong company culture

You'll be successful here if you're technically curious, comfortable diagnosing problems, confident asking for the sale, and motivated by aggressive revenue goals. You should also have the initiative to create additional opportunities around your scheduled appointments and the judgment to recognize when a repair makes sense versus when a homeowner may be better served by a full replacement.
