This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong clerical, organizational, and customer service skills who enjoy supporting business operations and maintaining accurate records.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and utilizing various office technologies to support agency operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and databasesEnter, update, and verify data with accuracy and attention to detailPrepare correspondence, reports, forms, vouchers, contracts, and agendasOrganize and maintain both electronic and paper filing systemsRespond to routine inquiries by phone, email, and in personRoute non-routine inquiries to appropriate staff membersOperate office equipment including scanners, copiers, printers, and mailing equipmentAssist with document preparation, formatting, and record managementSupport data management and administrative processing activitiesMaintain confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with agency policiesCoordinate work assignments and meet established deadlinesProvide occasional guidance and support to team members as neededHandle and transport office materials and supplies when requiredRequired QualificationsCandidates must have training, education, or experience demonstrating:Knowledge of modern office practices and administrative proceduresStrong written communication skills, including business correspondenceProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and WordExperience with data entry, recordkeeping, and document managementAbility to prioritize work and manage multiple assignments effectivelyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgment within established proceduresExcellent attention to detail and accuracyProfessional customer service and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in administrative support, clerical, or office operationsExperience creating spreadsheets and managing databasesFamiliarity with state government, public sector, or regulated office environmentsExperience operating office technology and document management systemsWork Environment100% onsite position located in Augusta, MaineStandard office environmentMay require lifting, moving, or transporting office materials and suppliesFrequent use of computers, office equipment, and telephone systemsCompensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
