Responsibilities
Welding & Fabrication
- Perform MIG welding on structural components and assemblies.
- Weld attachments, brackets, and fabricated parts to beams and tubing.
- Ensure weld quality meets company and customer specifications.
- Operate safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Cutting & Material Preparation
- Use cutting torches to prepare and modify materials.
- Operate plasma cutters when required.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to production requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Blueprint Reading & Assembly
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Lay out parts accurately on beams and tubes for assembly.
- Verify measurements and alignment prior to welding.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
✔ Previous MIG welding experience required
✔ Experience using cutting torches required
✔ Plasma cutting experience preferred
✔ Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus
✔ Experience with layout and fitting of parts for assembly
✔ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
✔ Ability to use measuring tools and follow specifications
✔ Dependable attendance and commitment to safety
