Intake Admission Specialist

To support patient transitions to home care services, the full-time Intake Admission Specialist will manage referral and intake operations, communicate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely in Michigan. Key responsibilities Processes daily patient referrals and intake operations according to established policies Communicates with service providers to coordinate care and follows up on patient satisfaction regarding services Maintains knowledge of community resources and assists referral sources in accessing necessary services Required qualifications Associate's degree and/or two years of experience in the healthcare field, including one year in home care Familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of governmental regulations and private payer practices Strong negotiation and public relations skills with the ability to create positive impressions Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and track data effectively Personable and courteous with a focus on building working relationships
