Work Environment This role is set within a community health clinic that operates predominantly through outpatient services. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth initial assessments and evaluations of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their mental health needs. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a variety of populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailored to specific circumstances. Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to ensure effective treatment outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, coordinating care to ensure a holistic approach to client well-being. Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards, while ensuring confidentiality and integrity in client records. Engage in continuous professional development by attending relevant workshops and staying updated on the latest research and therapeutic techniques. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Senior Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients include adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, as well as families in need of support and guidance. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia is essential. Preferred Experience Experience utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, especially in settings focused on outpatient care. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 300,000 to 400,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
