Required Qualifications:

• Holds a current Illinois Professional SLP license
• Possesses valid Illinois Educator Certification
• Brings experience or a strong interest in working with bilingual students
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language assessment, diagnosis, and therapy
• Develop and implement individualized plans for bilingual students
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Offer culturally responsive interventions tailored to students’ backgrounds
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents and staff regarding student progress
• Serve a district-wide caseload, requiring adaptability and flexibility
