Elementary Cafeteria Monitor

Two Cafeteria Monitors Florence Township School District 2026-2027 School Year Position Assignment: Roebling Elementary School We are seeking two dedicated and reliable Cafeteria Monitorsto assist with the supervision and support of students during lunchtime. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable lunch environment for all students. Responsibilities: Supervise studentsduring lunch periods. Assist students with opening food containers and packaging. Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafeteria, including wiping tables and assisting with waste disposal. Encourage and promote positive interactions among students. Assist with set-up and clean-up of the cafeteria before and after lunch periods. Report any incidents or concerns to school administration. Adhere to all school policies and procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working with children is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and supervise groups of students effectively. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to lift and carry moderate weight (up to 25 pounds). Ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude in a busy environment.
