QA Manager required for Food & Beverage Manufacturer

We're looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance programs within a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee quality systems, audits, risk management, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality teams while driving a strong food safety culture across the facility. The QA / Technical Services Manager will have the following responsibilities: Lead all food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance programs Maintain and improve HACCP, Food Safety Plan (FSP), traceability, recall, and prerequisite programs Prepare for and lead regulatory, third-party, customer, and certification audits Manage non-conforming product investigations, corrective actions, and risk assessments Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, SSOPs, and quality documentation systems Drive food safety culture initiatives and quality improvement programs across the facility Lead consumer complaint investigations and implement preventive measures Monitor quality metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Manage ingredient, packaging, sensory, and supplier quality programs Provide leadership, coaching, and development for quality and laboratory teams Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to standardize processes and share best practices Manage department budgets, resources, and cost improvement initiatives The ideal QA / Technical Services Manager candidate will have the following skillset: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field 3+ years of quality systems leadership experience within food manufacturing HACCP, PCQI, and SQF Practitioner certifications required Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and quality management systems Experience with regulatory, customer, and third-party audits Strong root cause analysis, corrective action, and risk assessment capabilities Advanced analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive cross-functional collaboration Experience with continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing methodologies preferred Thermal Processing and Acidified Foods experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr DSJ Global
