Surety/ Construction Associate – Denver, CO

Direct Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of practice experience to join its surety/ construction group in Denver, CO . This practice focuses on litigation in both state and federal courts, counseling, dispute resolution, and contract drafting and negotiation. All candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Colorado bar .

The ideal candidate will possess the following skillsets and experience:

• Practical or legal knowledge regarding the construction industry

• Prior experience with construction disputes, mechanics’ liens, and/or preparing and negotiating construction contracts and other construction documents (preferred but not required)

• The ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment with other attorneys, team members, consultants, and clients

• Superb written and oral communication skills

• Excellent academic credentials

 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $175,000 – $190,000 annually (DOE).
