Turnaround Tech (TAR) Location: Benicia, CA (On-site) Responsibilities Inspects, tests, and maintains safety equipment per manufacturer requirements, and documents service per TSUS/customer policies. Assists coworkers with stocking, staging, and loading customer orders for delivery. Maintains work area in a clean, orderly condition; performs additional duties after training. Issues, receives, tracks, and inspects equipment using TSUS/customer software. Communicates effectively with colleagues and builds rapport with customers quickly. Works safely and adheres to all TSUS & customer policies and procedures. Receives, inspects, cleans, reassembles, and tests SCBA and other respiratory equipment per approved procedures. Conducts routine inspection and maintenance of breathing air regulators and reducers. Completes all documentation and data entry for inspection and repair promptly and accurately. Conducts detailed visual inspections and functional tests of equipment to report deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to the Project Manager. Works 12‑hour shifts. Skills & Experience Completed Total Safety Work Instruction training and demonstrated competence to service fall protection, gas detection, and breathing air equipment; operates high‑pressure loop system and high‑volume low‑pressure compressor with limited supervision. Valid Class C driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance; good driving record and insurable for company truck use. Ability to pass internal forklift/scissor‑lift certification as required. Ability to obtain manufacturer’s certification if required for specific job. Working Environment Plant environment; may be exposed to wet, humid, outside weather conditions, vibration, high pressure, chemicals, and plant traffic. Moderate noise level. Educational Requirements High school diploma or GED and at least 3–6 months experience in the field. Qualifications At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
