The ideal candidate will be POSITIVE and ENTHUSIASTIC and have a passion for supporting our team and community by helping others to live their best lives through health and fitness.If you are a professional instructor who is highly motivated, FRIENDLY and willing to learn, build relationships with new and existing clients, and lead dynamic, contemporary, apparatus-focused workout routines (we use Balanced Body Reformers, EXO Chairs, TRX, Springboards, ballet barre and more), you'll be a great addition to our team!We are looking for instructors who are confident working with clients of all experience levels and can provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner through both group classes and private training sessions. Club Pilates offers blocked scheduling, the opportunity to teach multiple class levels and formats, free classes, continuing education, employee status (not independent contractor), room for growth, and a supportive, fun environment.REQUIREMENTSCurrent Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus)Experience teaching group classesAbility to demonstrate effective group Pilates instructionEnergetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching styleCapable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercisesPunctual, reliable, and dedicatedFocus on EXCEPTIONAL customer service, including professional and effective communication skillsAbility to work harmoniously as part of a teamAbility to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environmentRESPONSIBILITIESLead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standardsProvide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, while using a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level appropriateUphold our core values to ensure a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouragingConduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other additional sessions as neededInspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to useMaintain a clean and orderly workout environmentAssist with membership sales and checking clients inParticipate in special events as needed to promote the studioBuild studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services by delivering the “Message of the Week” after every classBe a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates.
