JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Window and Door Repair Technician to join our growing team. Field Service Technician applicant must reside in or near Denver, CO. Jobsite safety is our number one priority. Provide warranty service for installed windows and doors. Possible overnight travel (up to 50%) Hiring now immediate need for professional window and door field service technician. As a member of our Field Services team, you will conduct the following duties: Ability to learn how to perform service work on various products and accurately inspect JELD-WEN window and door products to find the root cause of service issues. Completing daily assigned warranty field service tasks while taking quality photos and reporting accurate and complete product and construction issues. Maintain tools and service vehicles in proper and safe working order. Operate company service vehicles in a safe and considerate manner. Become familiar with all JELD-WEN products in your coverage region. Follow JELD-WEN policies and procedures while operating safely, professionally, and efficiently. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Weekly travel with some overnight stays and over-time is a requirement with this position, along with flexible working hours. Previous experience in construction or a similar environment is preferred. High School Diploma or HSED. Safety first! Must have a solid safety awareness propensity. Field service technician experience, or experience in the construction trades is a plus. Must have carpentry skills and use hand and power tools and measuring devices. Ability to lift 70 lbs., climb, lift, pull, and safely perform tasks on a ladder, scaffolding, or other raised devices. Knowledge of window and door installation and repair practices. Strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills. Be dependable, self-motivator, the ability to problem-solve, and contribute to building a positive team environment.
