• Assess results for precision, manage troubleshooting of errors, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.

• Maintain a safe and pristine work area while complying with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within a year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout the course of employment.
