CNC Plasma Operator/Burner Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Plasma Operator/Burner Operator who has used the plasma burner machine and an oxy-fuel gas burner.

Job Responsibilities Include:

- Must have at least 6 months of experience operating a plasma burner

- Will be responsible for paperwork, work order documents, making a mental map of how each order will fit on the table, and grouping orders by thickness

- Prioritize work orders according to the supervisor

- Locate material on the floor, locate material in staging, home location, or plate drop racks

- Possess knowledge of select hook-ups, proper material handling equipment, chains, assembly with plate hooks, or plate dog, magnet, and spreader bar

- Ability to read a tape measure

- Work the night shift. During the training period, work the day shift for 1 week to 1 month

- Will be expected to help out in all departments

- Must be safety-conscious
