Legal Assistant, Birmingham, AL Location!

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to two attorneys
- Utilize digital dictation for transcription from attorneys, including correspondence, memos, and pleadings.
- Maintain attorney calendar by scheduling client meetings, depositions, mediations, hearings, trials, etc.
- Format and edit correspondence and pleadings efficiently and quickly.
- Electronic filing of pleadings with federal and state courts
- Coordinate, prepare, and distribute monthly electronic publications
- Create, revise, conduct Zoom, Teams, and virtual format meetings and webinars
- Create posts, products, and seminars for the website and social media
- Perform well in a fast-paced environment with a professional demeanor at all times
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of legal experience
- Highly organized with strong communication and client relations skills
- Excellent computer proficiency, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat/PDF
- High attention to detail, critical thinking, and self-directed
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- High School Diploma required; college degree and Paralegal Certificate preferred
Normal Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
