Minneapolis Rings is the first expansion location of Charleston Rings — a custom lab-grown diamond engagement ring company that has grown rapidly by doing things completely differently than traditional jewelry retail. There is no store. There is no inventory. Every ring is designed from scratch in a one‑on‑one design session with the client, built around their story, their style, and their budget. We work by appointment only out of a private meeting space in Wayzata, MN. We are not a jewelry store. We are a design experience. Our Expert Guides are consultative salespeople who build relationships, guide clients through our Truly Custom™ design process, and help them create something that doesn't exist anywhere else. Lab-grown diamonds mean our clients get a better stone for less money — and we get to focus on design and craftsmanship rather than pushing inventory. Role Description This is a sales role. You will be a founding team member for Minneapolis Rings — responsible for meeting with clients, running design sessions, closing sales, and building this market from the ground up. You are not inheriting a book of business. You are building one. Day to day, you will: Run consultative design sessions (in-person and virtual) with couples looking for an engagement ring Present diamond options, walk clients through the custom design process, and close deals Manage your pipeline — follow up on leads, nurture prospects, and convert appointments into sales Own the client relationship from first appointment through ring delivery Coordinate with our Charleston production team on orders, timelines, and client updates Collect reviews, generate referrals, and build the Minneapolis Rings reputation locally This is not a behind-the-counter retail job. You will have real autonomy, a flexible schedule, and uncapped earning potential tied directly to your production. Fridays and Saturdays are required in-person days. Other weekdays are flexible based on your appointment calendar. Compensation Base salary + commission on every sale (guarantee as you start) Uncapped commission — your income grows as you grow the business Full training provided (no jewelry experience required) Qualifications You are a strong salesperson. Consultative sales experience in any industry — real estate, automotive, financial services, luxury retail, B2B, or similar. You are great with people. Clients trust you, feel comfortable with you, and refer their friends to you. You are self‑motivated. This is a build‑from‑scratch role. You need to be someone who thrives without constant supervision and takes ownership of results. You are organized. You manage your own pipeline, follow up without being reminded, and keep detailed records. You are coachable. We have a proven process and a full training platform. No jewelry knowledge needed — but you need to be willing to learn fast. You are available Fridays and Saturdays for in-person appointments in Wayzata. You are comfortable with technology — CRM, scheduling tools, virtual meetings, and client communication platforms. What we are NOT looking for: Someone who wants a 9‑to‑5 with no variability Someone who needs to be told what to do every day Why this role is different: You are not employee #47 at a jewelry chain.
