Mindful Healing Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team as we provide essential mental health services to individuals impacted by trauma. This full-time role, which allows for remote work flexibility, focuses on delivering specialized therapeutic care in our outpatient office located in Macon, Georgia.

Work Environment

This role offers a unique combination of remote and outpatient office settings. You will primarily work from home but will also engage with patients in our Macon office. Our remote work policy promotes flexibility while ensuring sound communication among team members. Our office environment is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate effective therapy sessions, whether conducted in-person or virtually.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories, enabling individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic interventions aimed at trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in therapy sessions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their traumas and build effective coping strategies.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in scenarios that require urgent assistance from a mental health perspective.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available support resources.
• Ensure that all patient documentation complies with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in records.
• Engage in regular case consultations and contribute to team meetings that focus on trauma-informed care strategies.
• Continuously update personal knowledge of trauma therapy by engaging in professional development and remaining informed of current research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is geared towards serving individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs and backgrounds. Understanding the complexities of trauma is crucial for fostering a therapeutic alliance and supporting effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy, particularly in trauma-focused settings.
• Proven expertise in trauma-informed care, particularly with a strong focus on evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach towards individuals navigating their mental health challenges.
• Experience in managing high-stress situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various digital applications used in therapy practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
