Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for new clients, gathering background information and identifying their specific needs and challenges.
• Design individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and methodologies tailored to each client.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic approaches that encourage personal growth and coping strategies.
• Track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes, demonstrating flexibility in approach when addressing evolving client needs.
• Provide teletherapy options to accommodate clients who may face accessibility challenges or prefer remote sessions, thereby expanding our reach and impact.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, webinars, and relevant training to remain updated on industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse demographics within the Macon community and surrounding areas, providing tailored support that meets varied cultural and personal backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster a therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards diverse client backgrounds and experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to effectively manage caseloads and client appointments.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical setting or private practice is preferred, particularly with adult populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and remote therapy delivery is advantageous.
• Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care methodologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
