Scope of Work Under the direction of management and physician leadership, the Medical Assistant II performs and oversees functions related to clinical activities, including maintaining patient flow by assisting and promoting the delivery of primary and preventative health care, performing technical procedures, lab protocols, and other clinically oriented activities under physician/provider direction. The role supports physicians, clinic staff, and management to achieve office efficiencies and uphold the“Service First” philosophy that promotes customer satisfaction. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Completion of an accredited MA program, including clinical rotation, or equivalent experience (required) Six (6) months of relevant MA work experience or a completed Beaumont MA internship (required) 2-3 years of MA experience (preferred) Team members may have other MA certifications and hire dates before November 1, 2025 Basic Life Support (Basic Life Support – AHA or American Red Cross) within 30 days of hire (required) Medical Assistant certifications (CMA, RMA, ARMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA) within 90 days of hire (required) Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) – State of Michigan upon hire (required) Benefits Comprehensive benefits package to support financial, health, and work/life balance goals.
