MRI Technologist II

Role Overview: This is a full-time MRI Technologist II position responsible for performing routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging care. Key Responsibilities Performing MRI scans, selecting appropriate technical factors, and administering contrast agents following facility policies. Supporting invasive procedures under MRI guidance and participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Maintaining a safe MRI environment by adhering to safety protocols, screening patients, and ensuring proper equipment handling and quality control. Transporting and preparing patients, obtaining histories, explaining procedures, and addressing patient needs to promote comfort. Documenting activities, processing images, and ensuring timely delivery to interpretation systems. Providing patient education, supporting patient flow, and fostering a respectful environment aligned with organizational values. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or accredited MRI/Radiologic Technology certificate. 3-4 years of MRI experience with proficiency in all protocols. ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification required upon hire; internal candidates with extensive experience may be considered without certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy, patient positioning, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
