Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. Supervises nursing staff, collaborates with healthcare team members, and maintains standards of care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer and coordinate patient care according to established protocols and standards.
  
  
• 
  Supervise and direct nursing staff, delegating duties appropriately.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Collect and analyze patient data to identify treatment needs and progress toward outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a safe, healing environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess ACLS certification from an approved provider.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
