Senior Program Manager III – Albuquerque, NM Curia provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The Senior Program Manager III is responsible for managing the successful technical transfer of client programs and products to Curia. This includes managing a client‑Curia cross‑functional team that oversees all aspects of a client program, including scheduling, logistics, regulatory strategies, equipment procurement, validation strategy, and any other items necessary to complete the technical transfer. Responsibilities Evaluate new products and projects and provide assessment on scope of work to upper management to determine feasibility from both a timeline and financial perspective. Review proposals and change orders, paying attention to operational and business details. Consult and advise upper management on program status and report issues that may impact results. Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices when selecting techniques and solutions. Demonstrate technical proficiency as it pertains to site and corporate systems and practices, collaborate with others, and exhibit independent thought. Monitor and report progress of programs within agreed timelines, ensuring technical and financial goals are met. Prepare technical and verbal reports and presentations on program progress for site and corporate leadership. Collaborate with other groups to ensure program requirements are met. Serve as key contact for issues, updates, product releases, and general state of client programs. Allocate resources for programs in collaboration with departmental leadership. Interpret scope of work and provide leadership to internal team members. Enter financial information to request invoicing and revenue recognition in enterprise systems. Ensure meeting minutes, agendas, timelines, and preparations for customer visits are completed timely and capture actions and decisions. Synthesize complex information into process steps to communicate to all stakeholders at site and corporate levels. Develop, coordinate, and track contractual client and internal programs through the entire lifecycle. Maintain tracking tools and drive toward critical program gates. Lead process‑improvement initiatives through the department and across the site. Coordinate revisions of SOPs, batch records, and other site‑specific documents for clients. Follow up with the QA Product Specialist to ensure incident reports are closed promptly and act as liaison between QA Product Specialist and the client. Develop and administer schedules and performance requirements. Be available to service global clients at various time zones. Manage daily activities in the program management department. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering) with a minimum of five years’ experience in program management or a related role, OR Master’s degree with a minimum of three years’ experience. Possess solid knowledge of customer service, the pharmaceutical industry, project management, and contract manufacturing (small or large molecule). Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organize time to manage multiple programs and priorities across sites within the Drug Product Division. Read, understand, interpret, and implement contract and change orders. Display effective interpersonal and adaptive skills to achieve company goals. Express ideas clearly, logically, and concisely in accepted grammatical style. Pass a background check and a drug screen; Occupational Health Screening may be required. Preferred Qualifications PMP certification. Minimum of five years of program management experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, with direct CDMO experience preferred.
