The Masseuse will be responsible for providing a range of massage treatments, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, and other massage services. The successful Team Member will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 60-90 minute massages to clients by appointment
• Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most
• Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
• Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
• Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
• Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
• Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire
• Provide light housekeeping skills such as load and fold laundry. Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms.
• Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality and privacy
• Function as a member of a team with the goal of providing excellent service to all About Face Medispa clients.

Qualifications:

• State licensure to practice as a Masseuse
• Prefer 3+ years of industry experience.
• Proficient in performing all applicable treatments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly manner
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift 30 pounds
