Position: Diesel Mechanic Technician (A-Level) – Shop Mobile Technicians

Salary: Up to $48.00 per hour based on experience

Location: Indianapolis, IN – Near Downtown

Employment Type: Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling Available

Work Schedule

Standard shop hours: Monday – Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM
Flexible scheduling options available beyond standard hours
Optional weekend hours for additional earnings

Your Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks
Perform preventive maintenance and complex component repairs
Conduct Federal Annual Vehicle DOT Inspections (FMCSA compliant)
Troubleshoot and repair air brake and electrical emission systems
Utilize industry-standard diagnostic systems, including:

Diagnostic Link 8
Eaton Service Ranger 4
Bendix ACom
Meritor WABCO Toolbox

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Represent our organization with pride at all times

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel technician (required)
Journey-level mechanic experience is preferred
CDL-A and ASE Certifications are preferred but not mandatory
Strong skills in diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
Mechanical aptitude with both gas and diesel engines
Familiarity with OSHA safety best practices

Additional Requirements

Work authorization in the United States
Proficiency in English
Relocation to Indianapolis before the start date (if applicable)
This is an in-person position — remote work is not available
