Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Weekends

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Employment Type: Part time/Per Diem Schedule/Shift: Every third weekend, rotating shifts Location: Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE Position Purpose This person will be responsible for performing respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided. Responsibilities Performs respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information for continuity of care. Delivers and delegates respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients demonstrating knowledge of facts and sound judgement. Identifies and utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of care. Seeks knowledge regarding patient’s condition, disease entity or treatment and reflects this in patient care, documentation, and team conference. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program. Registered through NBRC. Licensed in the state of Delaware or holds a valid temporary license and registered Respiratory Therapist. Certified in BLS. Position Highlights Work/life balance with flexible schedules.
