Respiratory Therapist - Rotating shifts

Job Details Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Employment Type: Part-time (16 hours/week) Location: Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE Shift: Every third weekend day shift; occasionally Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm for outpatient tests Position Purpose This person will be responsible for performing respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures, communicating appropriate information so continuity of care can be provided. As an RRT, you will Perform respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures, communicating appropriate information to ensure continuity of care. Deliver and delegate respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients, demonstrating knowledge, facts, and sound judgement. Identify and appropriately utilize a multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of care. Seek knowledge regarding patient’s condition, disease entity or treatment, and reflect this in patient care, documentation and team conference. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program. Registered through NBRC. Licensed in the state of Delaware or have a valid temporary license and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Certified in BLS.
