Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description

This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and pneumatic systems. You should be comfortable working with computers and robots, and previous experience with CMMS Software or robotics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, and maintain equipment in the assigned area.
• Complete all preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist, train, and support production needs.
• Repair machine breakdowns promptly.
• Possess 480v experience. PLC experience is beneficial, with limited troubleshooting required.
• Utilize basic Microsoft Tools such as Excel, Word, and Maintenance Connections Software.

Essential Skills

• Experience in maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of CMMS Software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Technical Degree Preferred (such as TCAT or Trades).
• Robotics experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large packaging and distribution facility housing approximately 600 employees, with numbers increasing to 1000 during peak season from October to December. The facility is not temperature-controlled, so expect warmer conditions in the summer. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6 PM to 2:30 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vergne, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
