Neonatologist
Pediatrix & Obstetrix
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join their expanding team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to practice high-acuity medicine in a supportive, autonomous environment within a hospital system deeply invested in growing its Women's & Children's services. The position emphasizes work-life balance and clinical excellence, providing comprehensive clinical exposure in a state-of-the-art Level III NICU.
Practice Info
- 25-bed Level III NICU (ADC: 17)
- 36-bed Newborn Nursery (ADC: 15)
- Approximately 3,500 annual deliveries
- Care for all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)
- Advanced therapies: body cooling, oscillators, and a RN/RT-staffed regional transport team
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with experienced NNPs, supportive OB hospitalists, MFM, and subspecialty telehealth coverage
