CNC Machine Operator & Setup Person - Shelby Twp
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator & Setup Person to work with Rassey Skilled in Shelby Twp. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in turning, milling, and saw cutting, responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and performing full machine setups for production runs.
Shift Patterns
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Pay Rates
- 23.00 - 28.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for CNC Machine Operator & Setup Person
- Must have CNC setup and operation experience — lathes, mills, saws
- Must have blueprint reading ability for accurate part production
- Must have strong machining knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Must have quality inspection skills to verify tolerances
- Must have troubleshooting ability to resolve production issues
- Must have adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Role for CNC Machine Operator & Setup Person
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and production saws for daily production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and monitor production to identify deviations from specifications.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during machining while collaborating with team members.
