CNC Machinist - Shelby Twp
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Machinist to work with Rassey Skilled in Shelby Twp. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components, working closely with engineers to ensure quality standards.
Shift patterns
- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.
- Up to 50 hours per week (7:00 am to 5:30 pm) when available.
Pay rates
- 23.00 - 28.00 USD hourly
Essential requirements for CNC Machinist
- Must have experience setting up CNC lathes, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and loading/unloading parts.
- Must have the ability to program CNC machines using CAM software and read/interpret G & M codes.
- Must have the ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and perform in-process inspections.
- Must have the ability to set up and operate Bridgeport and manual lathes when required.
Desirable requirements for CNC Machinist
- Prior exposure to CAM programming beyond basic edits.
- Comfort running Bridgeport or manual lathes for secondary operations.
- Overhead crane and Hi-Lo operation experience.

- Operate CNC lathe machines and related equipment to produce precision parts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Assemble components and use hand tools for adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
