Early Childhood After-School Care Substitute Teacher - $85 per half-day

You’ll earn:

• $85 per half-day assignment with weekly paychecks
  • $170 per full-day assignment (over 4 hours)
• Paid via W-2, meaning no year-end tax headaches

You’re a great fit if you:

• Are available to support with assignments from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Have at least 1 year of experience working with children 3-4 years old
• Have an Associate’s degree or 60+ credit hours
• Have an active First Aid and CPR certification (valid for 2 years from initial certification)
• Completion of required employment history review and SSOA training, in compliance with D.C. law
• Are willing to step in where needed - this could include lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season
• Pass state & federal background checks (costs reimbursed after 10 assignments)
• Believe every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world

Preference given to candidates willing to accept morning-of assignments.
