Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to provide comprehensive medical care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in South Bend, IN. The Physician will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing the healthcare needs of residents, ensuring high-quality care in a long-term care setting. This position requires collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and promote overall well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up care for residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and quality outcomes
- Educate patients, families, and staff on disease management and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements
- Offer clinical guidance to Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare staff
Compensation and Schedule
- Compensation ($300,000-$500,000)
- Flexible scheduling, including weekday and weekend options
Skills and Qualifications
- Active Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license in the state of Indiana
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), long-term care, or geriatric medicine preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
