Your Opportunity We are seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our Survey team in Raleigh, NC. Our team provides a full range of survey services including boundary surveying, preparation of legal descriptions for easements and parcel boundaries, topographic mapping, construction layout, control surveys, route surveys, as-built surveys.

Your Key Responsibilities - Uses knowledge of relevant areas of surveying. - Prepares CAD drawings, reviewing, and processing the results of field surveys, and verifying the accuracy of field survey data. - Communicates effectively with members of the team and follows standard procedures to complete assigned tasks. - Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Your Capabilities and Credentials - Basic understanding of survey methods and calculations. - Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Standards. - Demonstrates strong math skills, including algebra and trigonometry. - Capable of reading / interpreting various types of construction and site plans - Working knowledge of field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations. Education and Experience - Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in AutoCAD, Surveying, Geomatics or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Is preferred. - Good driving record and valid Driver's License. - 3+ years of Land Surveying and CAD technician experience. - Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
