Shuttle Driver

The Shuttle Driver drives passengers to and from assigned locations. Depending on the contractual need, this could be around or near an airport, commercial building, hospital, sports arena, entertainment venue, educational facility or warehouse. Hourly Pay Range: $23.00 - $23.00 Shift: Mon-Sun (11pm-7:30am) and flexible to work all shift schedules subject to change. Must be flexible to work all holidays. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education. Responsibilities Transport, load and unload passengers, providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locations. Ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers, including the safe operation and handling of specialized equipment for passengers with special needs, such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs. Help passengers load and unload luggage as needed. Inspect vehicles regularly to identify unsafe conditions or maintenance issues; perform routine cleaning and bus maintenance activities. Assist patrons needing transportation to and from various airport locations and lots. Inspect shuttle for pre-existing damage using electronic device or manual ticket. Provide excellent customer service to guests; respond to inquiries courteously and provide directions to nearby highways or destinations. Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plan and coordinate bus evacuation activities as appropriate. Immediately report incidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead. Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment, logging fuel use. Maintain a clean work environment, disinfecting the shuttle after each use. Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Required: Must be 21 years of age or older. At least 2 years of experience; on-the-job training provided. No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required. May require a CDL with a specific class and endorsement requirement. Preferred: Two (2) years of prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver. Must have a Class B license with passengers and endorsement, a medical certificate, and a DMV printout. Mon-Sun any shift and subject to change.
